Fast, accurate and easy-to-use kit contains dropper bottle, test solution, easy-to-read instructions, color chart and glass tube with lid for 250 tests for pH level from 6.0 to 7.6 ppm. What is pH? pH is the measure of acidity or alkalinity of water. A pH reading of 7.0 is neutral, a pH higher than 7.0 is alkaline, and a pH lower than 7.0 is acidic.Testing TipsThis kit reads the pH of water within the range shown on the pH color chart. Anything outside this range, either more acidic or more alkaline, will read as the lowest or highest reading on the pH color chart. If chemicals are added to change extreme pH levels and no change in the pH reading is seen, the pH is above or below the range of this kit. Chemicals should be added slowly until a change in the pH reading is detected.
