Aquacultured Neon Aldabraensis Dottyback
The cultured Neon Aldabraensis Dottyback has a lot of attitude for such a little fish. Due to their aggression, we recommend that they be housed singly and with other fish that have similar temperaments. They prefer an environment that has lots of live rock to hide in, however, the live rock can bring out their aggression because they become territorial of their hidden dwelling. Providing a well varied diet of meaty foods will enhance the health of the dottyback, while also deterring them from unduly harassing other fish or consuming desirable invertebrates. They are known to snack on pesky bristle worms and small mantis shrimp, which is very beneficial. This dottyback has an adult size of only 4", which makes them ideal for smaller aquariums. The Neon Aldabraensis Dottyback is slender and has lovely colorations of orange, black and neon blue stripes.
