Ball Pythons are named for their habit of curling themselves up into a tight ball. Ball pythons come in a variety of patterns and colors and can reach up to 5 feet in length.

  • Lifespan: 30 years
  • Max Size: 5 feet
  • Ball Pythons can be housed together (although this may increase their stress level), but do not house different snake species in the same habitat.
  • Nocturnal - Awake at night, sleep during the day
  • Ball Pythons are typically very docile and are normally very friendly and comfortable with proper handling.
  • Environment: Arid/Arboreal
