Blue Diamond Creole Wrasse
The juvenile Blue Diamond Creole Wrasse is a unique and different wrasse that will bring color to your aquarium. This fish acts more like an anthias than a wrasse and prefers to be housed in a group simultaneously. However, they have an adult size of about a foot long, so an aquarium with ample swimming space is essential especially if adding in a group. This wrasse prefers to be added to aquariums with a sandy substrate and lots of rockwork. This wrasse is a great choice for reef aquariums because they will not bother corals but if they get hungry enough, they may go after shrimps and snails. The juvenile Blue Diamond Creole Wrasse is a light purple and blue coloration with an iridescent shine. They found in the Indo Pacific within shallow reefs and near rocky shores up to 15 meters deep. They are found in the Eastern Atlantic inhabiting the current swept seaward reefs up to 100 meters deep.
