Blue Velvet Nudibranch
The Blue Velvet Nudibranch are an awesome cleaning crew member and are known to devour pesky flatworms and reproduce within your aquarium. Do not be alarmed if you see white curly masses those are actually a strand of eggs. Since they can be sensitive, drip acclimation is recommended to get them used to their new water conditions. These little guys are about 2 inches in size and have electric blue stripes on its body. Their heads are hammer shaped and they have two streamers like appendages. This nudibranch is found in the Indo-West Pacific region singly or in pairs within the shallow waters of coral reefs.
