The male Butterfly Betta is a breathtaking variety of Betta splendens, known for its distinctive bi-colored pattern where the body is one solid color and the fins feature a contrasting "band" or "outline" of white, cream, or another accent hue. Though delicate-looking, they are hardy and intelligent, thriving with proper care in a well-maintained aquarium. A varied diet of high-quality Betta pellets, frozen or live foods such as Bloodworms, Brine shrimp, and Daphnia is ideal for their continued health. A gentle filter is recommended and be sure to prevent strong currents for this Betta. With proper care, the male Butterfly Betta can live 2-4 years, serving as a stunning and mesmerizing aquatic pet.
