Hermit crabs are nocturnal scavengers that will eat almost anything. Hermit Crabs live in large groups in the wild and do best in groups of three or more.

  • Max Size: 6 inches
  • Lifespan: 10 years
  • Hermit crabs should be housed together as they are highly social. Do not house different invertebrate species together
  • Nocturnal - Awake at night, sleep during the day
  • Hermit crabs breath through gills so it is important that their habitat has a humidity of 70% to 80% to keep their gills from drying out
  • Diet: Omnivorous
