Freshwater Moray Eel
The Freshwater Moray Eel is a unique species to add as a bottom dweller to your aquarium. They look very similar to marine Moray Eels. The Freshwater Moray Eel will grow to be 1 foot in length and will need enough space. This species can thrive in both freshwater and brackish conditions. In the wild, they are considered obligate predators and should be housed with tank mates larger than their mouth. Try feeding them freeze dried brine shrimp and other meaty foods. Because Freshwater Moray Eels are famously picky eaters, try first offering live foods.
