Danios are an easy beginner fish that does well in a community setting and makes a brilliant schooling display. The Giant Danio has beautiful colorations that will shimmer in your aquarium! They are considered to be one of the largest species. They can be housed in really any quantity but keep in mind the larger the school then a larger tank is needed. They do exceptionally well in planted aquariums with darker substrate but can thrive in tanks without. Provide an aquarium with higher flow to mimic their natural habitat. The Giant Danio will accept just about any food that is dropped into the tank from freshwater flakes to frozen meaty foods.
