Gobies are an excellent addition to reef aquariums as they have a small adult size and a lot of personality. The vibrant Green Band Gobies are very timid and hardy, which makes them a great addition to a reef aquarium. Its care is pretty minimal; the most important aspect of their care is to make sure they are eating. Be sure to supplement their diet with meaty frozen foods (thawed) and marine sinking pellets. This little guy has an adult size of about 2" and are a great addition to smaller aquariums. They have vertical stripes of neon green against their brownish green body. The Green Band Gobies are found in the Western Atlantic hiding in rocks near reefs.

  • Needs peaceful tankmates
  • Approximate selling size: 0.5-1"
  • Minimum tank size: 10 gallons
  • For continued health, provide a varied diet of marine meaty foods and should be fed twice daily
  • Reef safe with caution
  • Add to an aquarium with ample rockwork for grazing/hiding
  • Should be the only goby in the aquarium unless they are a mated pair
