Green Shrimp are vibrant and hardy freshwater shrimp, perfect for adding color, activity, and practical value to any aquarium. With a wide range of color variations, including red, yellow, blue, green, and even crystal-clear, these shrimps are a favorite among aquarists for their beauty and ease of care. Native to East Asia, Neocaridina shrimp are well-suited for a variety of freshwater setups. They typically grow up to 1.5 inches in length and thrive in tanks with stable water conditions. Neocaridina shrimp are peaceful and can coexist with a wide range of community fish, snails, and other invertebrates, making them ideal for planted or shrimp-only aquariums. These shrimps are excellent scavengers, feeding on algae, leftover food, and organic matter, helping to keep your tank clean. They also enjoy a diet of high-quality shrimp pellets, blanched vegetables, and algae wafers. As they are hardy and adaptable, Neocaridina shrimp are great for both beginners and experienced aquarists.
