Hydor Zeolite is a high quality natural adsorbent material suitable for freshwater and marine aquariums. Zeolite ensures crystal clear water by putting different filtering modes into action. Thanks to mechanical filtration, it retains pollutants such as food and faeces. Ammonia is removed quickly via ion exchange, making it ideal for the early start-up stages of freshwater aquariums. Zeolite is also excellent as a biological substrate to promote the proliferation of aerobic and anaerobic bacteria and reduce ammonia content. It also helps remove dyes and odorants, as well as microalgae and drug residues. It does not release substances harmful to the life of fish, phosphates or heavy metals.
Supplied in a 550 g pack with a practical filter bag for great versatility.
Before use, wash the product with distilled water.
