Latticed Butterfly
The Latticed Butterfly is a vibrant addition for fish only aquariums. They are fairly hardy and will adapt well to life in an aquarium if acclimated properly. These can be kept in groups of fish, including other butterflie. When stressed the Latticed Butterfly's coloration will get darker. Like most butterflies, we don't recommend placing the Latticed in reef aquariums because they are very likely to consume a variety of coral polyps. This butterfly will grow to be about 6" in size and will need ample swimming space. The Latticed body is vibrant yellow with hunts of orange and has a lattice like pattern. Their fins and face have black bands that really pop against the yellow. The dorsal fins are jagged and can get caught in nets. They are found in the Indo-Pacific inhabiting coral rich reef flats and lagoons in pairs.
