Aquacultured Nano Devil's Hand Coral
Don't let their name fool you; the Devil's Hand Coral is a great addition to a reef aquarium. This soft coral is easy to maintain, can be easily propagated, and grows very quickly into an attractive branching show piece in the aquarium. Because they grow so rapidly, be sure to provide enough space between them and their neighbors. Also, like most leather corals, the Devil's Hand can release a toxin that irritates its neighbors; for a safe introduction, give them a saltwater rinse after shipping and ensure your filtration has carbon. Devil's Hand Corals are the picture of hardy and love aquarium conditions that are not ideal for many corals, like low light and high nutrients. That being said, they will do best with a combination of low flow, moderate light, and nutrient enrichment.
