Orange Shrimp
Orange Bee Shrimp are vibrant and hardy freshwater shrimp, perfect for adding color and activity to any aquarium. Native to East Asia, Neocaridina shrimp are well-suited for a variety of freshwater setups. They typically grow up to 1.5 inches in length and thrive in tanks with stable water conditions. Neocaridina shrimp are peaceful and can coexist with a wide range of community fish, snails, and other invertebrates, making them ideal for planted or shrimp-only aquariums. These shrimps are excellent scavengers, feeding on algae, leftover food, and organic matter, helping to keep your tank clean. They also enjoy a diet of high-quality shrimp pellets, blanched vegetables, and algae wafers. As they are hardy and adaptable, Neocaridina shrimp are great for both beginners and experienced aquarists.
The Orange Bee Shrimp is a very bright red shrimp that adds a spalsh of color to an aquarium once fully acclimated. Although commonly kept in a freshwater fish aquariums, the Orange Bee Shrimp thrives in a planted aquarium where food is abundant. They will often appear clear in coloration until they have fully acclimated to their new home. Once fully acclimated their appearance transforms from clear into a predominantly orange color. The Orange Bee Shrimp have been know to breed in captivity.
