Ossa Knifefish
The Ossa Knifefish is a remarkable and unusual species that will bring a lot of attention to its aquarium. This fish can grow to be about 14 inches in length if properly cared for. Provide an environment with plenty of hiding places where the Ossa Knifefish can go when feeling shy. They prefer more dimly lit aquariums and will spend more time hiding if the aquarium if too brightly lit. They are fairly timid but can bully smaller fish, which is why it is recommended to house with similar sized tank mates. They are a social species and prefer to be housed in groups. Provide a varied diet of freshwater frozen foods and small pellet or flake foods.
