The Redfin Fairy Wrasse would be a perfect candidate to just about any aquarium and its peaceful behavior and bright coloration makes it very popular by hobbyists. The male's colors will deepen during courtship. It is strongly advised that the aquarium has s tight fitting lid because they are known to jump out. Their diet should include frozen meaty foods like brine shrimp, marine pellets and flakes. On occasion a seaweed strip should be added to add variety to their diet. This wrasse has a high metabolism so they should be fed several small meals rather than two large meals a day. They have a small adult size of 4" which is another reason why they are so desirable. They display a variety of shades of red and a pale underside.
