Royal Pleco L-191
The Royal Pleco L-191 is a beautiful pleco that can be seen stuck against the glass all day cleaning off the algae. They are a very efficient algae eater and will actively clean the glass, which means less cleaning for you. Like most plecos, the Royal has a long-life span and can grow to be quite large so be sure they have enough space. Provide lots of hiding spaces to help reduce their stress especially while they are acclimating to their new environment. The genus Panaque are known as wood eaters by nature. They appreciate a planted aquarium with drift wood, plenty of water movement and aeration. Even though they love eating algae that cannot be their only food source, so provide a varied diet of algae wafers and meaty, sinking pellets.
