Sexy Dancer Shrimp is the perfect candidate for a nano tank. These little guys spend their day shaking their colorful tails while hiding. The shrimp's size will not exceed more than 1 1/4 inches in length. The Sexy shrimp will set up residence within anemones for protection and perform a cleaning service in return. However, they are generally not tolerated by clownfish if they have also chosen the same anemone. This usually ends in the clownfish consuming the small shrimp. If there are no anemones in the aquarium, the shrimp is known to use corals as hosts, which is generally not an issue as long as they are well fed. Sexy shrimp will scavenge for food, but their diet should be supplemented with meaty foods. This shrimp can be kept in groups of three or more, but be careful choosing tank mates because fish and some invertebrates may try to make a meal out of the tiny sexy shrimp.
