HYPERZEO Decomposition of organic matter produces nitrogenous compounds that are further broken down by biological filtration and eliminated from the aquarium by water changes. The use of HYPERZEO lengthens the time interval between water changes by removing major pollutants before they are broken down. HYPERZEO 's effectiveness varies depending upon on the amount of nitrogenous compounds initially present in the aquarium and the rate at which thes substances are processed by the biological filter. That rate, in turn, depends upon the population density and on the efficiency of the filter system.
