Wheeler's Watchman Goby
Gobies are an excellent addition to reef aquariums as they are very timid, disease resistant and hardy. When planning a display with this goby, be sure to use a few inches of mixed grain sand, as this will give them enough depth to burrow, and a more secure final structure. The Wheeler's Watchman Goby scavenges through the sand for food, which helps keep your sand looking clean. Because they are generally busy working on the sand bed, target feeding is recommended to keep them from missing meals. Small groups or pairs can be added to an aquarium as long as it is large enough and they are added simultaneously. This goby has an adult size of 3" and are a great addition to nano aquariums. They have a white body and broad red bands that are littered with blue spots.
