White Cone Tip Cerith Snail
The Cerith Snail may be small but is a great addition to your clean-up crew. It is very adept at keeping your aquarium clean by eating detritus, fish waste, and algae. This species is known to burrow into the sand on the hunt for food, which has the benefit of aerating your substrate. Like other invertebrates, they are sensitive to high nitrate levels and will not tolerate copper-based medications. If sufficient food levels are not present, supplement the diet with vegetable-based tablet foods or dried seaweeds.
