Yellow Blotch Rabbitfish
Rabbitfish are a fan favorite because they can be housed with just about anything. They are a peaceful fish except when housed with other types of rabbitfish. Be sure to provide an environment that has plenty of space to swim and live rock that has algae so they can graze on it. The Yellow Blotch Rabbitfish can be considered reef safe with caution because they have been known to nip at some corals, especially when hungry. To avoid the nipping be sure that they are well fed with a mix of meaty foods and vegetable-based foods. They will grow to be a pretty large size of 10" and will need ample swimming space. Full grown adults of this rabbitfish will need around 150 gallons; however, you can get away with smaller aquariums when they are juveniles. They have a silver body that is covered in orange spots that makes them really stand out.
