Yellow Spotted Rabbit Snail
The Yellow Spotted Rabbit Snail will make a great addition to your clean-up crew. They have a bunny-looking face and the antennae look like ears, which is how they got their name. These Yellow Spotted Rabbits are a very active snail that will be entertaining to watch move about the aquarium. The Rabbit Snails have made a recent splash in the freshwater aquarium world thanks to their large size and heartiness in home aquariums. Rabbit Snails often dig themselves into the bottom, so sand is arguably a better base than gravel, though this is probably of minor importance. This clean-up crew member will do an excellent job consuming detritus, algae and deceased plant matter. However, be aware that if this snail is hungry enough, they may nibble on your plants as well.
