Yellow Tail Loach
The Yellow Tail Loach scavenges the bottom of the aquarium looking for leftover food. They can be semi aggressive towards other fish, but multiple loaches can be added to one aquarium. Their adult size is a little larger than the cory cat. The Yellow Tail Loach is considered a "scale-less fish," which means they can be more susceptible to diseases like Ich. Slower acclimation and pristine water conditions will help reduce the chance of diseases. Provide an environment with lots of caves and hiding places for this loach to sleep in. Adding this loach to an aquarium with sandy substrate or fine gravel with plants will help mimic their natural environment. Although this loach doesn't require turbulent conditions they do best when the water is well-oxygenated with a degree of flow. For continued health, feed this loach a mix of frozen Bloodworms and high-quality sinking pellets.
